I'm about a year late to the thread, but these weren't easy animals to get.

I have two IMG boas that are also anery and possible het albino. Pics are here

The pattern is still visible on the 2010 male. The 2009 female has transitioned to nearly all black.

No, the IMG is a seperate genetic morph. It was initially believed to cause an increase in melanin production as the snake ages, eventually turning jet black. That isn't really possible because melanin doesn't work like that. What's more realistically happening is the animal is overproducing all chromatophores. It eventually turns black because melanin is the darkest pigment. I think the combo morphs with this gene will be awesome.

I hope you don't mind but I am posting these for you, Garret's IMG boas.

    I assume the female

    The male, I assume

You are correct. The first pics you posted are of my 2009 female. She's transitioned to nearly 100% iridescent black. Those photos were taken with a flash to give you an idea of just how black she is. The second animal is a 2010 male. He should be a breeder this coming season.

So far no luck on getting the male to breed. He just doesn't seem to have the interest yet.
