    In the article they mention that its range only covers a few square miles. Considering the small range, your theory about hybridization makes complete sence to me as a possibility. Thanks for pointing that out because I wouldn't have thought of that - interesting.

    I would imagine some species have had to originate from hybrids..

    They have also made a find down in Florida.....not sure if it was Florida....BUT, they say for years scientists were trying to see if pythons could exist in SALT WATER, and they concluded it IMPOSSIBLE.!!!

    WELL, they have recently found pythons living in SALT WATER!!!!

    HYBRIDIZATION IS HAPPENING EVERYWHERE!!!!!

    WOLVES AND COYOTES MIXING.
    2 DIFFERENT SPECIES OF SHARK HAVE CREATED A NEW BREED.
