they always reminded me of a cross between the Reticulated python and the Amethistine python
Kinda looks like a Retic X Macklots to me..

They are very timid pythons and given the chance will try to flee and spray you VS bite you, cornered they will take a stab at you...LOL... I got these guys in hopes to breed them down the road. From what I understand they aren't seasonal breeders so missing the time to put them together may be the big hurdle in breeding them.

Most of the ones you see are "captive hatched" As these were, but hoping with a few generations removed from the wild stock they will mellow out. I had Bloods back in the day that were nervous spraying monsters, and now they are like an oversized Ball python that doesn't Ball up..

The male sprayed me a few days ago cleaning cages...LOL... I can't say it's a good smell to wear and of course it was the first tub I was cleaning... I think they will be fine with some feeding and time to get that I'm not going to kill them but if they don't I'm OK with that. I can appreciate a snake for being a snake...lol.. They are gorgeous pythons, and the promise of a challenge breeding them and not knowing much about them is all I need to be interested in them.

I'm going to build some display cages for them when I figure out where to put them and make some to fit that space...LOL... Maybe I'll make a joined cage with a pass through.. Always good to come here and get some thoughts.

I see the original pictures are gone.

Do you still have these Ed?

Man this board is just shrinking away.

Hope all is well with you, and if you have the Timors post an update!
