    Default New Suphan cobra

    This is our new Suphan cobra. She is awesome! She will stay hooded up like this for a long time. Sorry the pics are blurry its hard to photograph an active cobra. Enjoy!

    Holy Shiznit...........that is wild!!!...........I think they are so awesome but, alas I will never own one..............too much stress...........I know I would get bit..........lol.
    Do you handle those ?..........and if so using what ?..........hooks..........gloves........armour.... ......lol.

    They are just fascinating animals but I must agree with jade, I WOULD NEVER HAVE ONE OF THOSE. They are beautiful and all but too much to handle.

    No i dont think we are going to breed her. When we handle them we always use a hook. Cobras are pretty easy to work with for the most part. They are fairly predictable in the way they move and strike. Vipers and some other elapids like mambas are a different story. Thanks for all the comments.

    WOW!! never thought people where keeping such snakes..
    what do you do if you get bitten?
    the only thing that holds me for keeping such a snake when i'm older is the bite-risk and the risk having no serums...those serums just cost a lot of money and in belgium there are no hospitals whit serums to heal you.

    do you have serums in your house in case of a bite?
    or are there hospitals with serums in your area??
